Darcy Christian

Darcy grew up on Cape Cod, where she began dancing at the age of two. She trained at Atlantic Coast Academy of Dance in ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, and hip hop, becoming a member of their youth ballet company and performing in various productions.

Her passion for choreography grew through years of assisting and teaching younger dancers, where she developed her love of creating movement and storytelling through dance. Outside of dance, Darcy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Salem State University, blending her passion for visual and performing arts.

Darcy has been a member of DanceWorks for 16 seasons and has previously choreographed three works for the company. She is excited for season 30 and to return for her fourth piece, co-choreographing a second heels work with the incredibly talented Sam Cormier.
