Annabelle Schultze began dancing at age three in her hometown of Rye, NY. Throughout the years, she fell in love with ballet and decided to pursue her dream to become a dancer, attending summer intensives at the School of American Ballet and eventually the pre-professional program at Boston Ballet School. After a trainee season with Carolina Ballet, Annabelle changed course and went to Boston College to study psychology and computer science. Nevertheless, she found a vibrant dance community there, and joined Dance Organization of Boston College, where she fostered her love for new styles of dance and contemporary choreography. Currently Annabelle works as a user experience researcher. This is her second season with DanceWorks Boston and first season as a choreographer.
