Amanda grew up in Dover, Massachusetts, and began dancing at the age of three. She trained at Commonwealth Dance Academy, where she studied ballet, tap, and jazz before expanding her repertoire to include pointe, lyrical, and contemporary. As a member of the studio's competitive dance team, Amanda performed both group and solo routines at regional competitions throughout her youth.

Amanda graduated from Bentley University in 2019 as a dual major. During college, she was an active member of the Bentley Dance Team, performing on the Game Day team while also competing at NDA College Nationals and the Dance Team Union, College Classic. It was during this time that she discovered a new passion for hip hop and pom, broadening her versatility as a dancer. As a senior, Amanda served as team captain, an experience that strengthened her leadership skills and deepened her appreciation for the impact of teamwork and mentorship.

Professionally, Amanda works as a Community Manager for a multifamily residential apartment complex. After graduation, she wasn't ready to hang up her dancing shoes and was encouraged by former teammates to audition for DanceWorks Boston. She joined the company in 2019 and has loved continuing to perform, grow as an artist, and be part of such a supportive community.

This season marks Amanda's 12th season with DanceWorks Boston and her third season as a choreographer. Let's dance, Boston!
